Health & Wellness

Livermore Hall, home of the campus Health Center.

At Holderness, we’re committed to helping each student optimize their health and wellbeing. At the Health Center, a team of medical professionals is devoted to caring for and diagnosing students with new illnesses, connecting students to counseling, assisting with medications, arranging doctor’s appointments outside of our clinic, and making individual plans for the safe return to sports after injuries.

Health Center Hours

Our nursing team is available for students in the Health Center Monday-Friday from 7:30 am - 7:30 pm, Saturday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm and Sunday 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm. A nurse is available on call when the Health Center is closed. To make an appointment, please call (603) 779-5367 or email nurse@holderness.org.

Counseling Services

We believe that a student’s emotional wellbeing is just as important as their physical health. Our School Counselor is an important resource who assists students experiencing emotional, family, relationship, and campus life problems. If serious emotional problems arise, the counselor can provide recommendations for further assessment and intervention. Medical management of, and ongoing psychotherapy for, emotional or attention problems are beyond the scope of services provided by Holderness School. However, arrangements can be made for such specialized care to be provided locally.
