Holderness Theater Program presents Mean Girls: The Musical in Kistler Family Auditorium with performances on Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 27, at 7:30 p.m. The show is free to all but requires an entry ticket.
About the Show
Mean Girls is a fearless musical about chasing popularity and being true to yourself, from book writer Tina Fey, composer Jeff Richmond, and lyricist Nell Benjamin.
Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. Cady and her friends devise a "Revenge Party" to end Regina's reign, and Cady goes undercover as an aspiring plastic. When the lines between the real Cady and her Plastic self get blurred, she must find her way back to herself and her true friends.
With over 50 students participating in the production–whether on stage, in the ensemble, stage crew, or tech–the show requires calculated coordination and organization from everyone involved. Join us for this wonderful experience!
