Athletes of the Month | January 2026
Alexandra Molloy

Each week we recognize our student-athletes for their athletic accomplishments. This month we recognize eleven athletes.

Scarlet Hanseth '29
Team: U16 Eastern Alpine Ski Racing

Scarlet '29 has been posting some impressive results as of late, with podiums at every race so far! This past weekend, the Bulls had their first Macomber Cup race, and Scarlet secured a 2nd place finish for the U16s and a 3rd place overall. She posted a top ten result at the Eastern Region Performance series over at Stowe Mountain.

Sawyer Graubins '26
Team: Boys Varsity Hockey

Sawyer '26 delivered 4 goals in 2 games, including a hat trick against Pingree School and the game-winning goal in the Bull’s 4-2 win over Rivers School

Zahra Kegode '27
Team: Eastern Snowboarding

Zahra '27 has had an amazing start to the season after last year was cut short due to injury. She's all smiles until she steps on the snow, and then she dials up the intensity and shifts into work mode. This is most clear on competition days.

Zahra has grabbed the top spot on the podium in 2 of New England's biggest rail jams this year: Cease and Desist and The Bombhole Beatdown! With the season starting to ramp up, we are excited to see what it holds in store for Zahra!

Jayvian Cruz '27
Team: Boys Varsity Basketball

Jayvian '27 led his team with two Class B wins this week. Jayvian averaged 15.5 ppg on 48% shooting from the field. He was a perfect 8-8 from the free-throw line. He also added 5 rpg and 5.5 apg. In the win over Pingree, Jayvian eclipsed the 1,000 career point mark. He is the second Bull to do it this season!

New 1,000 point milestone!

Regan Sawyer '29
Team: Girls Varsity Hockey

Regan '29 had an outstanding week, playing a key role in helping the Bulls earn two wins and one tie. She scored her first goal as a Bull and added an assist, directly contributing to the team’s offensive success.

Beyond the scoresheet, Regan’s strong forechecking and relentless net-drive play consistently set the tone for the team and created multiple scoring opportunities. Her effort, intensity, and impact in all three games made her a difference-maker and highly deserving of Athlete of the Week recognition.

Jack Axtell '28
Team: Boys Junior Varsity 2 Basketball

Jack '28 was relentless in his effort, constantly moving with the ball, finding open spaces for shots and layups, and providing the spark that led our team to a hard-fought victory over a strong opponent in the Bulls match up against KUA.

Despite a tough loss to Proctor, Jack was unquestionably the player of the game, delivering a remarkable 30-point performance. Over 85 percent of his points came from beyond the three-point line, truly embodying the phrase “let it rain threes.” Jack put on a basketball clinic, showcasing confidence, skill, and composure, and left teammates, opponents, and spectators in awe with his scoring display and leadership.

Dean Fales '28
Team: Boys Junior Varsity Hockey

Dean '28 completed a three-game in four days stretch where he amassed over 120 saves. Dean's outstanding work is especially noteworthy because he is the lone goalie on the team and never gets or takes a day off!

Henry Yust '28
Team: Nordic Skiing

Henry '28 raced smart and patient. After battling back and forth with the lead pack for most of the race, he made his move on the final climb, digging deep to pull away and holding his lead all the way to the finish line, winning by 7 seconds.

Boone Martin '28
Team: Eastern Alpine U16 Ski Racing

Boone '28 has been pushing hard to make some major improvements to his skiing this season. He has shown moments of brilliance in training, and finally, all came together under the lights on Friday Night. At the Cranmore Macomber Cup Series Slalom Boone finished first place for U16 athletes and third overall for the race.

Tanis White '26
Team: Nordic Skiing

Tanis '26 took off from the start line of our girls' home race and only continued to grow her lead each lap. She continued to push herself from the front and finished the race, maintaining her position at the front of the pack for all three laps of our challenging home course and winning by an astounding minute and forty seconds.

GO BULLS!
