Athletes of the Month | April 2025
Holderness School

Each week we recognize our student-athletes for their athletic accomplishments. This month we recognize 6 athletes.

Maggie Higgins '26
Team: Girls Varsity Lacrosse

Maggie '26 had a standout week, leading the Bulls through a tough four-game week. Maggie had 11 goals and 5 caused turnovers, with her largest contribution being 7 goals in the Bulls 11-10 win over St. Paul’s School! She displays great effort and command on both sides of the ball, as she can score a game-winning goal in 10 seconds or play great man-to-man defense.

Victoria Frankauski '25
Team: Girls Junior Varsity Tennis

Victoria had an impressive win, helping her team reach a 5-4 win against New Hampton last week. Down by several games, Victoria maintained her focus and gained momentum by the end to win Singles #1. Victoria has also displayed great efforts off the court, as a captain, she supports her teammates with positivity in both practices and games!

Katherine Geswell '28
Team: Varsity Softball

Katherine represented the Bulls on the mound, as she pitched in three games! Despite it not being her primary position, she delivered a strong performance. At the plate, she also performed extremely well with multiple hits and RBI's throughout the week. Beyond her impressive stats, Katherine's positivity and encouragement from the mound were a huge lift for her teammates, helping us secure two important wins!

Casey Cellar '27
Team: Girls Junior Varsity Lacrosse

Casey has been an enthusiastic teammate and competitor so far this season! Casey has helped her team out by playing various positions, displaying her versatility and willingness to help.

Eli Chilick '25
Team: Boys Varsity Lacrosse

Eli has been a consistent contributor and the pulse of the Bulls’ offense all season long.  He creates mismatches with the opposing team's defense by being a physical dodger and a dynamic scorer. He has been able to calm and produce points in close games, including BVL’s most recent game vs Kimball Union Academy where he scored with 25 seconds left to push overtime and victory.

Michael Eccleston '28
Team: Varsity Baseball

Michael pitched a complete game in a win against KUA, giving up 0 earned runs, just 1 walk, and striking out 9!

GO BULLS!
