Hornets Shutout Bulls 2-0

Alan Thompson
In the second meeting of the year between Holderness and Proctor, Proctor was able to keep the Bulls scoreless and defeat Holderness on the road 2-0. The game had lots of back and forth action and scoring chances for both teams, but Proctor was able to beat Androlewicz twice and Holderness couldn't find an answer for the Proctor goalie. Holderness had a few excellent chances in the third period to tie the score; one off the stick of Isaiah Fox on a shorthanded breakaway and another off the stick of Jake Waterman on an odd man rush, but neither could find the back of the net. Both goalies were terrific in the game. Androlewicz stopped 38 of 40 shots and Proctor's goalie stopped all 35 shots he faced. The two teams will play one more time towards the end of the season at Proctor. The Bulls will return to action on Monday afternoon vs. Tilton School.
