The Bulls made up for their season-long scoring drought by putting ten different players in the scoring column and upending Vermont by the score of 13-0.  Vermont came to town with a novice team but never quit.  Their rookie goalie recorded 46 saves and made the Bulls work for their points.  Jack Bayreuther got the team’s first two goals and had the Bulls up 2-0 half way through the first period.  To close out the third, linemate Nolan Sullivan notched his first of three on the day to have the Bulls up 3-0 after one.
The floodgates opened in the second period when Holderness would put seven unanswered goals on the board.  The highlight of that run was an Alex Oliver rebound score, his first of his two-year career.  Sandwiching that goal, Reilly Cepuritis, Sullivan and Bayreuther would each notch a pair while six different players recorded assists.
In the third, Cepuritis would get two more while Sean Kim would get his first of his Holderness career.  Ben Booker would get credit for two assists, and goalie Sergio Yap would earn his first shutout of his young career.
It was good to finally put another “W” on the scoring sheet.  The team will reassemble next week for a home game on Wednesday at 2:30 vs. Cardigan Mt. School.
