The Bulls would give up a goal to New Hampton on the first shirt of the game and then battle valiantly for another forty-two minutes before they succumbed to the Huskies by the score of 0-3 on two last minute goals. The story of the game was Bull’s goaltender Leo LaPata. Leo recorded 58 saves on the afternoon and did everything in his power to keep the Bulls in the game. New Hampton was a faster more skilled team, but Holderness never threw in the towel and, in fact, had a few great scoring opportunities that they just couldn’t finish. At the end of the game, it was a tired crew of skaters who had just played three tough opponents in four days, all on the road. Credit to the team for sticking together and giving it their all.
