The Bulls spotted the Hornets a three-goal lead in the first five minutes of the game and then settled down to play decent hockey. Ben Booker would take the puck behind the net in the second period and make a perfect feed to Nolan Sullivan in the slot. Nolan’s one-time shot finally beat the Proctor goalie who was stellar all afternoon. Holderness’s second goal came in the third period when Tom Hendricks fed Jack Bayreuther. Jack’s goal came with eight minutes left on the clock, but that was all the Bulls could muster in a game where they out-shot Proctor 48 to 20.
The team will work on scoring goals in practice this week and then travel to St. Paul’s on Friday for a 4:00 game.
