Huskies fly past Bulls 4-1

Alan Thompson
The Bulls did a great job containing New Hampton's high powered offense for most of the game, but could not prevent them from gaining a 3-0 lead a few minutes into the 3rd.  The Bulls best period was the 2nd, when they had multiple chances to get on the board and cut the deficit, but they could not capitalize on their chances.  They were able to cut the lead to 3-1 late in the game on a 5 v 3 pp goal scored by Tim Manning, but New Hampton added an empty netter with 1 minute to play to clinch the game.  Connor Androlewicz was outstanding in the losing effort picking up 46 saves on 49 shots.  The Bulls will have another chance to beat the Huskies at the end of the month.
