A Lesson in Starting Confidently

K. Berry
The Bulls learned about the importance of starting the game with confidence under the lights against KUA.
Under the lights for KUA day, the Bulls worked hard to recover from a jittery start where KUA used fast free hits to put two goals away quickly in the first ten minutes. The Bulls were able to stop the wildcats from any more goals for the rest of the game, scoring one goal midway through the second half off a beautiful cross from Reynolds to Claudia Cantin. Despite many opportunities, and a goal scored just after a whistle on a corner, the Bulls were unable to find the back of the net a second time. After the game, the team already was channeling the sting of this loss into momentum for our first game after the break, St. Paul's!
