With temperatures in the 90s, the Bulls took on a talents New Hampton squad on Robert T Lowe field. Many players were pushed out of their comfort zones not only by the heat but also by a low number of substitutes forcing girls to play unfamiliar positions. Hallie Barker was one such player as she played her first game in net for Holderness. She made two saves during the game and was well protected by the defense of Vivienne Guo and Gwen Bowler. Alia Piccini and Madison Roth controlled the midfield, beautifully distributing the ball and dictating the pace of the game. Back from injury, Bella Rowan showed off her stick skills at midfield and defense. Eva Austen had two points on the game, one assist and one goal. Lexie Von der Luft netted her third goal of the season during the second half. Cate Pollini had two goals during the game. The Bulls looks to carry the momentum forward to our game verse Proctor on Saturday.
