The Bulls earned a shut-out home opener on a hot and sunny Low Field today for Reunion weekend.
The girls worked hard to distribute the ball and work together up and down the field against Hebron. Sophomore Andrea Reynolds netted the first goal of the game on a penalty stroke and scored the second goal after carrying the ball up the field. Junior Claudia Cantin found the back of the net twice, and senior forward, Elise Yabroudy, also tapped in a great ball from junior midfield Morgan Sisson. Senior Goalie, Kiely Smiga-McManus earned her first shut-out of the season and successfully shut down eight corners from Hebron's offense throughout the game. Sophomore Olivia Branch brought energy to the midfield throughout the game, confidently stepping to the ball. Freshmen midfielder Maddie Ross stepped into passing lanes and found the open-player consistently on the opposite side of the field. The Bulls look forward to their next game in two days against New Hampton School.
