Holderness got back in the winning column on Saturday after a tough defeat at the hands of Tilton the previous night. Holderness went up late in the 1st period off a rebound goal from Senior Alex Gagnon. Atte Aalto and Tim Manning picked up assists on the play. In the 2nd, Tim Manning extended the Bulls lead to 2-0 off a well-placed shot from the slot that beat the Brooks goalie high to the blocker side. Isaiah Fox and Patrick Ault set up the goal. In the 3rd, Holderness had multiple chances, but could not beat the Brooks goalie. The Bulls started to tire and got a little sloppy with the puck late in the 3rd giving Brooks a chance, but they were only able to beat Androlewicz once leading to the 2-1 win. Connor Androlewicz made 26 saves earning the victory. The Weston Lea game puck was awarded to the entire team for finding a way to win a tough battle on short rest. The Bulls return to action next Wednesday vs. Lakes Region rival Brewster Academy.
