  • Join the Network and be a Mentor

    Help a Senior Thesis Student
In 2014, Senior Thesis became a full-participation event for all Holderness seniors. Since that time our network of parents and alumni have played a pivotal role in the success of Senior Thesis by providing experiential learning opportunities in their respective industries. We hope you’ll consider offering spring break, summer, and other short-term internship or shadowing opportunities that will help seniors further their studies. Please contact Sarah Barton if you would like more information.

    Career Mentors
Our young graduates are entering the workplace, and we want to help them connect with helpful and wise Holderness mentors. Consider meeting with an alumnus or alumna in your area and sharing your knowledge and experience not only in your field of expertise, but in life!

Post a position at your company and hire a Holderness graduate
Since you're a parent and/or an alumna/us, you know firsthand about how Holderness students excel inside and outside of the classroom. So, why not consider hiring a Holderness grad at your company?

Alumni and parents who host our alumni and admission events help build lifelong connections across the country and throughout the world. • Volunteer

    Become A Class Agent
More than 90 Class Agents lead Holderness Fund participation across more than 55 classes. Engaging and corresponding with their classmates throughout the year, Class Agents encourage their classmates to join together to support the Holderness Fund for the betterment of today's students and school.

    Become A Class Correspondent
Class Correspondents assist the Alumni Office with the promotion and facilitation of communication among members of the class through mailings, personal visits, and phone calls. The principal duty of a Class Correspondent is to coordinate the composition of Class Notes in the school's publication, Holderness School Today (HST). This section of the bi-annual magazine contains columns with current information about the graduates of Holderness in ascending order by year of graduation.

Contact Kim Merrow, our Director of Alumni and Parent Engagement, to learn more about being a Class Agent or Class Correspondent.

  • Support Holderness

    Support the Holderness Fund
There are so many reasons to support Holderness! You can give to honor the education you received, or your child is receiving; you can give to make sure today’s students have the education they need to succeed, or to provide for a young person who could not otherwise afford Holderness; you can give in honor of a faculty member or favorite program—there are as many possibilities as there are people who love Holderness. Learn more about the Holderness Fund.

Participate in our annual Day of Giving
Holderness Day of Giving is a day devoted to you, the Holderness community. It is one day for everyone to come together in support of Holderness by giving to the Holderness Fund. Held annually in February, the winter of 2016 marked the second annual Day of Giving and was celebrated together by over 725 members of the community.
