The 139th Holderness School Commencement is scheduled for Sunday, May 20 and Monday, May 21, 2018. We are so excited to celebrate our seniors’ accomplishments and to recognize their many achievements. As we celebrate a new class becoming alumni, we are pleased and honored to have William D. “Bro” Adams ‘65 addressing the Class of 2018 at the 139th commencement. Bro Adams is currently a senior fellow at the Mellon Foundation; he recently served as the president of Colby College and was the director of the National Endowment for the Humanities.   • Commencement Dress Code

    Seniors are expected to purchase their attire for the Commencement ceremony.

    Senior ladies: White dress of appropriate length (fingertip length or longer), or White Pantsuit
    Senior gentlemen: Navy blue blazer, tie, white button-down dress shirt, and white pants

    4:00 PM - Prize Day Ceremony, Livermore Commons - All guests of seniors are invited to attend.
    5:30 PM - Reception, Weld Hall Lawn - All guests of seniors are invited to attend.
    6:15 PM - Commencement Dinner, Weld Dining Hall - Given space limitations in Weld Hall, we ask that only immediate family (parents and siblings) of seniors attend.

    9:30 AM Baccalaureate Service, Chapel of the Holy Cross - All seniors and immediate family (parents and siblings) are invited to attend
    11:00 AM - The 139th Commencement and Luncheon, Livermore Commons - All guests are invited to attend a luncheon that will directly follow the Commencement Exercises
