Middlebury graduate Katie Mandigo to coach ice hockey

We are very excited to officially announce that Katie Mandigo will be our new Varsity Girls’ Ice Hockey Head Coach for the 2016-17 season. Katie brings a wealth of knowledge about the game and is excited to join the Holderness community.
In addition to coaching ice hockey, she will work in the admission office and will help with the girls’ varsity lacrosse program. Katie’s connections to the youth, prep, and college hockey worlds and her specific plan for development of the program mesh well with the Holderness athletic mission and philosophy.
Katie Mandigo grew up in Cornwall, VT and will graduate from Middlebury College with a BA in psychology and a minor in history this spring. During her four years at Middlebury, Katie played on the ice hockey and lacrosse teams, and served as a captain of the hockey team during her senior season. Prior to Middlebury, Katie attended the Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, CT, where she lettered in field hockey, ice hockey, and lacrosse. Katie, along with her parents, two older sisters and dog, Murphy, spends her summers in Wolfeboro, NH.
