Our Goals for Distance Learning:
  • Support the health and wellness of our community.
  • Sustain our community by supporting relationships essential to learning and wellness. 
  • Help students and faculty establish new habits and flexible routines to engage in distance learning. 
  • Provide programmatic continuity for students through a blend of synchronous and asynchronous learning environments. 
  • Ensure support for all community members, recognizing that we are all learners in this moment. 

Key Terms

Synchronous Learning
Synchronous learning environments are those in-person, face-to-face times when the class will video-conference together at the same time.

Asynchronous Learning
Asynchronous learning means other forms of interactions where the back-and-forth happens in different time frames.
