Distance Learning Begins April 9th

Holderness School will offer its program via distance learning beginning on Thursday, April 9. Watch the video below to learn more about Holderness School’s distance learning program.

Our Goals for Distance Learning:
  • Support the health and wellness of our community.
  • Sustain our community by supporting relationships essential to learning and wellness. 
  • Help students and faculty establish new habits and flexible routines to engage in distance learning. 
  • Provide programmatic continuity for students through a blend of synchronous and asynchronous learning environments. 
  • Ensure support for all community members, recognizing that we are all learners in this moment. 

Key Terms

Synchronous Learning
Synchronous learning environments are those in-person, face-to-face times when the class will video-conference together at the same time.

Asynchronous Learning
Asynchronous learning means other forms of interactions where the back-and-forth happens in different time frames.
