Each week, we recognize our student-athletes for their athletic accomplishments. This month, we recognize eleven athletes.

James Doiron '29
Team: Varsity Cycling

James has had a standout rookie road cycling season so far. In his first-ever race, an individual time trial, he was the first boy in the C class. In his first road race, he finished as the second C class, and then came back the following week to not only win the Cs but also the Bs. He comes to practice each day with a positive mindset, always willing to learn more about the sport and race tactics. He is incredibly friendly to his competitors and wants everyone's light to shine.

Matt Fede '26
Team: Varsity Baseball

Matt led the team to a 13–2 win over Brewster with a perfect 4-for-4 performance at the plate, adding 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored. He sealed the victory with a walk-off three-run home run in the bottom of the fifth.

Olivia Tatum '28
Team: Girls Varsity Lacrosse

Olivia has quietly become an essential part of the team’s success. Always willing to step into whatever role is needed, she brings a steady presence that never goes unnoticed by her teammates. Her hard work paid off in a big way at New Hampton, where she delivered an impressive performance, scoring three goals and helping drive the team forward. It’s this combination of selflessness, consistency, and clutch play that makes her such a valuable player for the team.

Tristan Gerasin '27
Team: Boys Junior Varsity Lacrosse

Tristan is a defensive midfielder and face-off specialist on the Boys' JV Lacrosse team.  In the team's two wins this past week, he led the squad with 21 ground balls and was perfect, 13-for-13, on face-offs in Saturday's game vs. Austin Prep.  Tristan's many talents are also on display as he anchors the team's man-up unit.

Beckett Lehr '27 & Boone Martin '28
Team: Boys Junior Varsity Tennis

Beckett '27 and Boone '28 persevered through four hours of the Lakes Region JV tennis tournament, only losing to the top-seeded team. They brought home the runner-up trophy in their bracket despite zero years of tennis played between the two of them, before this season!

Miles McCabe '26
Team: Boys Varsity Lacrosse

Miles '26 delivered two standout performances in net against both New Hampton and Cushing, leading the Bulls to win 18-6 and 12-7. His composure, communication, and timely saves were instrumental in helping secure both victories for the team. Miles continues to be a significant part of our defense.

Lillian Holland '26
Team: Rock Climbing

Lillian '26 went on a tear of leading trad climbs. When on the sharp end of a gear route, climbers need to manage risk by finding gear placements to keep them safe, all while keeping a cool head and climbing smoothly. Lillian did this calmly and confidently, but is actually getting this nod for what happened in between.

When racked up for her second trad lead of the day, another student, new to climbing this season, stepped up to the climb, not knowing she was about to tie in to lead it. Lillian set aside her ambitions for the climb to belay and encourage this new climber as they fought their way up the climb. Lilian was rewarded for her good sportsmanship and support of her peers with enough time to lead, clean, and rappel off the climb.

Maggie Higgins '26
Team: Girls Varsity Lacrosse

Maggie '26 brought everything she had for her team down the final stretch. She created offensive opportunities, controlled the pace of play, and came up with key defensive takeaways when they mattered most. Her all-around effort, leadership, and determination earned Maggie Higgins Athlete of the Week honors.

Henry Prowse '26
Team: Varsity Golf

Henry '26 anchored the varsity golf team in the Lakes Region Championship Tournament last week. Prowse shot the lowest score on the team, earning himself a 73. Prowse secured the Bulls' second Lakes Region Tournament Championship 1st place finish in back-to-back years!

Trey Picard '26
Team: Boys Varsity Lacrosse

Trey '26 scored the game-winning goal to secure Holderness’ 8-7 win over New Hampton School in the Lakes Region Tournament Championship Game. Picard’s goal led the team to complete their 15-0 season, marking their second undefeated season in three years and the program’s 3rd time claiming the championship over four years.

GO BULLS!
