Mr. Tyler LewisDirector of Admission (603) 779-5231 Colby College - BA Harvard University - EdM A Maine native who recently completed his first year as Director of Admisison at Holderness, Tyler explains that his favorite aspect of the job is spending time getting to know the families who visit. Helping them to gain a clear sense of the community – the programs, traditions and personalities, as well as the humble pride that seems to define the accomplished students and faculty – is a pleasure and it also seems to be characteristic of so many families who come through the door.
Tyler did his undergraduate studies at Colby College and later completed his master’s degree at Harvard University. Prior to coming to Holderness, Tyler worked at Blair Academy as a teacher and coach and also in the admission, financial aid and college counseling offices. Most recently, he was working at Carney, Sandoe and Associates, an educational consulting group in Boston.
When Tyler isn’t in the office, he enjoys skiing, hiking, biking and all manner of outdoor activities. His wife, Renee, is a teacher and coach at Holderness and you will meet their dog, Baxter, on any visit to the admission office. |
