This weekend the temperature rose to almost 80 degrees; the snow has disappeared from the Quad; spring dress was announced; and it felt like spring was finally here. On Saturday afternoon there were lots of home games (three lacrosse and one baseball). Everyone was in their shorts hanging out in front of dorms, and playing in or watching games. Saturday night the Quad was hopping with music from Niles and Webster, lots of pick up games, a barbecue in front of Niles, and Dr. Nelson set up a telescope on the Quad to look at Saturn, the moon, and Mars. In addition, inside Weld there was ballroom dancing lessons, a movie in Hagerman, and lots of folks in Weld and in faculty homes watching the exciting Bruins and Montreal game.
