Special Programs 2007

In the month of March, Holderness students take part in something called Special Programs. These programs are designed to provide rigorous artistic, social, physical, and intellectual challenges, broadening students' experience of themselves and the world in which they live.

    Out Back 2007
    New Hampshire's White Mountain National Forest is never more beautiful - nor forbidding - than it is in March. This is the setting for Out Back, a 10-day program in outdoor education.

  • Project Outreach 2007
    Each year in March, the first year students at Holderness travel several hundred miles to Philadelphia. There they work for two weeks as volunteers several community groups.

  • Artward Bound 2007
    For two weeks in March of each year, Holderness is transformed from a school into an art colony thanks to Artward Bound, a nationally recognized visual and performing arts program. It is a unique opportunity for all sophomores to explore the arts with several artists-in-residence for ten days of uninterrupted creative work.
